A lifelong animal lover, I got involved with purebred dogs at the age of twelve. I started with shows, then later competed in hunt tests, dabbled in obedience and agility, and then began in pointing breed field trials, which my husband and I now compete in with our dogs and horses.

My love of photography, along with my early career in graphic design and digital pre-press led me to create Flashpoint. I began by photographing at shows, field trials and other dog sports, as well as my own dogs of course! My most beloved memories of my past dogs are now preserved only in photographs, so I know how important these are to capture throughout the life of our beloved animals. From the achingly adorable first weeks and months to their slower, more distinguished senior years, we can never hold on to every moment we have with our pets. But we can keep them in beautiful imagery, and cherish them in our homes for a lifetime and beyond.

While I’m proud to have won awards and recognition for my photography, my strongest motivation is being able to capture moments and memories, and transform them into stunning artwork that can be treasured forever.
